Introduction
As the most convenient means of transportation, automobiles are intimately related in our lives. Recently, new developments have been active in the areas of producing automobiles that are fuel-efficient, pollution-free, high-safety, high performance and noise-free. Specifically, notable developments have taken place related to highly-efficient HSDI diesel engine, GDI engine, continuous variable transmission (CVT), an automatic transmission, NVH optimizing technology, hybrid CAE-CAT NVH modeling technology, technology development on noise/vibration of brakes, fuel-cell operated vehicles and electric cars.
Robots refer to machinery that is endowed with artificial intelligence. Robots can be further categorized into symbiotic robots, which provide various services and support in the everyday lives of human or industrial robots that provide certain services for the benefit of many unidentified persons or carry out certain specialized work or in the manufacturing industry from production to shipment. While the traditional science of robotics involves the application of intelligence to the mechanical device, lately, thanks to industrial robots, mass production has taken a different meaning. Furthermore, there has been active studies in developing personal aid robots that would be more approachable to people.
5T has accumulated great capability to provide intellectual property services in the area automotives and robotics. Our competency also expands to peripheral devices (air conditioning, tires) on vehicles.
